The River Rat Race Committee announced that this year's race will be on Saturday, April 13, 2024. It will be held in memory of long time Athol Lion Jeanette McIntosh.
The race will start with the firing of the cannon at 1 pm! The Athol Lions are proud to sponsor this annual event again this year and will have Tee Shirts and Sweatshirts available for sale soon at the uptown Athol - Else Where Store. Else Where will also be the in-person RRR sign up spot.... and the on-line registrations on this site will be available soon.

5K Big Cheese Road Race sponsored by the Athol YMCA
Pre-Race Parade co-ordinated by the North Quabbin Chamber of Commerce
Race Day Pancake Breakfast offered for a small fee by the North Quabbin Masons.
The annual Carnival is sponsored by our Athol DAV (Disable American Veterans)

The Friday night drawing will take place at 7 pm at the Athol Town Hall on Main Street.
